FAQs

Q1: What makes the 004.004.3006 cable “ultra thin”?
A1: The 004.004.3006 features a 3.6mm diameter, making it significantly slimmer than standard Ethernet cables. This enables tighter bends and denser patching in server environments.

Q2: Is the 004.004.3006 suitable for PoE (Power over Ethernet) applications?
A2: While the 004.004.3006 is designed for high-speed data transfer, its 28AWG conductors may not support higher-wattage PoE. For heavy PoE use, consider standard gauge CAT6 options.

Q3: Does the 004.004.3006 meet Australian safety standards?
A3: Yes, the 004.004.3006 complies with AS/CA S008:2010, ISO/IEC 11801, and TIA/EIA-568.2-D standards, ensuring safety and performance for Australian use.

Q4: Can I use the 004.004.3006 cable outdoors?
A4: No, the 004.004.3006 is designed for indoor use. For outdoor applications, a weatherproof or direct burial-rated cable is recommended.

Q5: What are the advantages of LSZH in the 004.004.3006 cable?
A5: The LSZH jacket in the 004.004.3006 emits minimal toxic smoke during combustion, making it ideal for enclosed or public spaces where fire safety is crucial.
